Danbuzz (danbuzz.com) is run by Cresvia Dance Education Private Limited (CIN U85410AS2024PTC027355), registered office: 5 No. Patta Harmoti, North Lakhimpur, Harmoti Merbil, Laluk, Lakhimpur 784160, Assam ("Danbuzz", "we"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how you can control it. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.

1. What we collect

• Your account: name, email, phone number, town or city and state. If you use Continue with Google, Google gives us your name, email and profile photo. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed); we can't read them.
• Your bookings: the event, ticket types, amounts, booking fee, payment status and the payment reference from Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
• The people you book for: for ticket 2 onwards you give us each person's name, email and phone, and you can add stage names or a crew name. Only give us someone's details if they have agreed.
• Audition videos you upload for events that ask for one, and the artists you pick for classes.
• At the event: the time your pass was scanned at the entry.
• Organizers: the details in the "List your event" form, and the bank account and PAN given for payouts.
• Emails: for our event emails, whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked (reported by our email service, Brevo).
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and device, in our hosting provider's server logs, and the cookies described in section 7.

2. Why we use it

• To make and run your account, take your booking and payment, and send your QR passes, receipts and a reminder the day before the event.
• To let the organizer run the event: their dashboard lists who booked, the people on each booking, check-ins and audition videos.
• To check you in at the entry and stop a pass being used twice on the same day.
• To answer you when you contact us, including on WhatsApp.
• To pay organizers and deduct tax at source where the law requires (bank details and PAN).
• To send you emails about new Danbuzz events: only if you ticked "Email me about new Danbuzz events" or turned it on in My Account, or if you booked with us in the last 24 months. Every such email has a one-tap Unsubscribe link, and you can turn them off in My Account at any time.
• To send you WhatsApp messages about new Danbuzz events if you have booked tickets with us. Reply STOP to any of them and we won't send you these again.
• With your OK in the cookie bar: to see which link brought you to Danbuzz (for example an Instagram post), so we know which promotions work.
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We don't sell your personal data, show you ads from ad networks, or record your screen or clicks (no session replay).

3. Who we share it with

• The organizer of the event you book: your name, email, phone, city and state, the names, emails, phones and stage names on your booking, check-ins, and your audition video if the event asks for one. Artists you pick for a class see the names of the people who picked them.
• Razorpay processes payments and refunds.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) sends our event emails.
• Google: when you use Continue with Google; our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Cloudflare's cdnjs, which receive your IP address when a page loads.
• Hostinger hosts the website and our email.
• WhatsApp,  when we message you about your booking or about new events.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, for example a court order or a tax inquiry.

Some of these services process data outside India. We only use services that protect it, and never in a country the Government of India has restricted.

4. How long we keep it

• Your account: until you ask us to delete it.
• Bookings, payments and payout records: 8 years, because tax and company law require it.
• Audition videos: deleted 7 days after the event ends.
• Your choice about event emails: until you change it. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address only to make sure we never email you again.
• Organizers' bank details and PAN: while we make payouts, then as long as tax law requires.
• Server logs: as long as our hosting provider keeps them, usually a few weeks.

5. Children

Danbuzz accounts are for people aged 18 or older. A parent or guardian books for anyone under 18 and confirms this at checkout, which is their consent. If an audition video shows anyone under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before it is uploaded. We don't track children's behaviour or aim advertising at them. If you think a child's data reached us without a parent's consent, write to the Grievance Officer and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

• See a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with.
• Correct or update it. You can change most of it yourself in My Account.
• Delete it. We keep only what the law makes us keep (see section 4).
• Withdraw consent: Unsubscribe in any event email, switch event emails off in My Account, or clear your cookies and choose Decline. Withdrawing doesn't undo what was done before.
• Nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or can't act yourself.
• Complain to our Grievance Officer (section 10). If you aren't satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email or WhatsApp the Grievance Officer. We may ask you to confirm it's really you.

7. Cookies

• Needed for the site to work (always on): keeping you signed in, remembering your cart and checkout, bringing you back to checkout after you log in, and remembering your cookie choice for 6 months.
• Only after you tap Accept: cookies named sbjs_* that note which link or campaign brought you here. Decline, and they are never set. To change your mind, clear the cookies for danbuzz.com and the bar will ask again.

We don't use advertising or social media tracking cookies.

8. Photos and videos at events

Events on Danbuzz may be photographed and filmed by Danbuzz or the organizer, and those photos and clips may appear on our website and social media. If you'd like a photo or clip of you taken down, write to the Grievance Officer and we will remove it from our channels.

9. Security

The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, organizers' bank details are stored encrypted, and only the team members who need them can see personal data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll post any change here with a new "Last updated" date. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we'll email account holders before it applies.
